Internationally famous Winston cigarettes are manufactured by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company founded in 1870-s by Richard Joshua Reynolds in Winston-Salem, North Caroline, a historical center for tobacco leaves processing. By the end of the 20-th century the brand changed its appearance to more modern and elegant style.

Today Winston cigarettes are sold in 80 countries and are the fourth in sales among international tobacco brands. Winston cigarettes ad campaign launched in September 1954, they were the first filtered cigarettes in America. The idea to manufacture such cigarettes was brought by Richard J.Reynolds from Switzerland. In 1956 Winston becomes the best cigarette brand and is still outrageous.
